Our Burmese Teas

Formerly (and still often) called Burma, Myanmar has weathered frequent civil conflicts since achieving independence in 1948. Long governed by a military junta, Burmese goods, like tea, were for decades unavailable to Westerners.

With the liberalization of Myanmar's economy in 2010, Burmese tea is once again gaining in popularity. However, it remains difficult to procure in the United States.
