What's Brewing at Rakkasan Tea in 2019

We learned a lot from our customers last year. We took your feedback and have quite a bit in store for 2019. So today we want to give you a taste of what’s coming.

• Tea Subscriptions
  Tired of logging on every month to buy the same tea when you run out? Just sign up for a subscription. While we haven’t ironed out the details yet, they'll come soon—and we’re certainly open to suggestions. Tea subscriptions will also make great gifts!
   
• Herbal Teas
  Through a farm co-op in an east African country emerging from conflict, we’ll bring you a new line of organically grown, naturally caffeine-free tisanes (herbal teas). Whether you want to cut down on caffeine or just want variety, we plan to offer four new selections beginning in mid- to late-February. There’s a great story here and we can’t wait to share it!
   
• New sizes (Available now!)
  We now offer more size options for most teas. At checkout, just select the size you want. (The two exceptions are the Black Jasmine and Lotus Tea. Supply is simply too limited.) Larger sizes offer better value!
   
• Include a Message with Your Order
  Customers often email and ask to include a note to the recipient of an order. So we’re making the process a lot easier. At checkout, you'll soon have the option to include a message for the recipient.
   
• Shangri-La Black Discontinued
  As many of you know, from local economic obstacles to drought and equipment shortages, we face many challenges importing tea from small farms in post-conflict countries. In the case of Shangri-La Black—one of our original teas—the farmer who produced it no longer does. We regret that we can no longer offer it.
  
  When we select a tea, one criteria is that we’re able to obtain it consistently and indefinitely. Usually it works out. In this case it didn’t. If this was a favorite, we hope you’ll try our other great selections.
